Monthly - Paul Gerrard's boost from his cup win has followed through to his league form and sits at the top of the last month, closely followed by Chris Lyons and Colin Rigby. 

Overall - Simon Baldwin will cursing his bonus point defeat so close to the end of the league. Has he bottled it? Son Harry will be giving him some earache now and shares the lead with Paul Leech. Richard Smith sits 3rd and Simon's defeat sees him drop to 4th 3pts off the top now. 

Just shows how much I know, after predicting Craig Frost to win the MLW cup, Paul Gerrard managed to win it comfortably by 3pts to 0. Paul's 5-2 victory easily saw off Craig's 2-1 defeat. Well done Paul who wins £30, Craig wins £16.

Monthly - Richard Smith continues his excellent run and Paul Gerrard had just the week he needed on cup final week, both take an early lead in the final month of the season. 4 of us are on their tales (me, Ade Heathcote, Adrian Franklin and Col Rigby). 

Overall - We are really at the business end of the season now and we are in for an exciting finish as just 2pts separate 4 players, both Baldwins, Richard Smith and Paul Leech, who will hold their nerve?!

Well done to Paul Leech, Simon Baldwin and Jeff Miller as they have gone over the 100 goals scored mark. 

In more important news I have gone 1pt clear of clear of Craig Frost in 12th.  

Cup final details to follow

Two mid table teams whose last chance for silverware is in the MLW cup (fixtures Mon to Thurs this week).

It is very difficult to split them, they do not have any players or teams the same so no copying tactics will be employed.

A good week for many for the first time in a long time. 

Monthly - Well a real turn up for the books as Richard Smith (£30) our website guru has managed to bag the penultimate monthly prize (on goal difference from unlucky Harry Baldwin) to gain only his 2nd ever monthly prize. 

Overall - Harry Baldwin gains compensation as he overtakes dad Simon in the main table. Paul Leech is still there and crazily I don't rule out Richard Smith in 4th.
