Remarkably I have managed to win 4 out of 4 in December (not sure how) and secure the £35 1st prize and I am delighted!

Craig Frost takes the runner up spot and bags a £15 bonus on goal difference from Graham Highton. Craig has had a tricky first half of the season so he will be pleased he is finally making some progress. It shows being in the bottom half doesn't mean you give up, those monthly prizes are always open to all to win.

Chris Gerrard holds onto top spot for the 3rd week and now has a 4pt lead over the chasing pack. The chasing pack includes both Hightons and Graham Jeffries 7pts off the lead. Bottom spot going into new year is Alan Keech and just like his team Oldham looking to avoid a drop out of the league! The bottom spot is a 4 horse race with Andy Peaden, Chris Lyons and Richard Smith just separated by 2pts.

MLW Cup Prelim Round Draw

MLW Cup Draw has taken place. Thanks to Lindsey Keech.

This is the preliminary round. 6 ties have been drawn as follows.

Bing Findlater v Andy Peaden

Peter Gerrard v Paul Keech (thanks Lindsey!)

Craig Frost v Jeff Miller

Andrew Highton v Graham Highton (ouch!)

Lesley Rigby v Matt Wakeman

Jordan Gower v Paul Gerrard

The other 10 entrants get a bye to round 1.

We do not know when the games will be played yet. We are waiting for a week when COVID dos not affect the fixtures.

MLW continues to get disrupted with (supposed) COVID cancelled games. We plough on!

Players are still managing to pick up wins but obviosuly bonus points and sub points are not so prevalent.

Monthly - with just one game to go somehow I manage to hold a slender lead over Simon Baldwin (1pt) with Jordan Gower and Graham Highton still well in hunt 2pts away.

Overall - Top 4 stay as they were with Chris Gerrard, 1pt clear of Andrew Highton and 2 clear of Graham Highton

We continue to delay the start of the cup competition until postponements reduce.
