MLW Cup draw. 14 teams, 9 get a bye. Games to be played 26th, 27th, 28th Dec.
 
Andrew Highton (L1-4) v Adrian Franklin (L0-4) - Andrew Highton wins by 0pts to -1pts
Andy Peaden (L1-4) v Jay Harmer (L1-3) - REPLAY
Paul Keech (L1-3) v Jordan Gower (L0-4) - Paul Keech wins by 0pts to -1pts
Connor Jones (L1-6) v Graham Highton (L1-2) - Graham Highton wins by 0pts to -1pts
Paul Leech (L1-4) v Liam Gower (W3-2) - Liam Gower wins by 3pts to 0
Simon Baldwin (L0-2) v Craig Frost (L0-2) - REPLAY
Matthew Adams (L2-3) v Jeff Miller (L1-3) - REPLAY
 
The 3 replays will take place this weekend. Replays by points for the main league, total points including sub squad, then by all from the main league (goal difference, goals scored or if scores match by goal diff and goals scored from the first match in that order).

Boxing Day summary (week 18)

Week 18

Wins = 4 (double bonus = 0)(Single Attacking bonus = 0)(Single Defensive bonus = 3)

Draws = 1 (0 bonus)

Loses = 22 (Losing Bonus = 3 - Connor Jones, Jordan Gower, Adrian Franklin)

Sub Squad

Wins = 9

Draws = 7

Loses = 11

Up 4 places to 8th  - Richard Smith

Down 3 places - Matthew Adams and Harry Baldwin

Monthly - clearly nobody wants to win the month or get through to round 1 of the cup. Remarkably only 4 players managed a win this week and many of you will be regretting your team selections as the sub squad results were much better than the main league. With so few points handed out this week there is little change with one week to go. Chris Gerrard and Jeff Miller lead one point clear of me.  Richard Smith and Neil Gower are still well in the hunt for the Christmas prize. 

Graham Jeffries's lead increases to 3pts as Graham Highton moves back into 2nd place. Paul Leech moves up 2 places to 5th.

Up  - no significant moves

Down 4 places Liam Gower

Monthly - Chris Gerrard stays top from Jeff Miller but his lead is cup to 1pt. Simon Baldwin, me and Neil Gower lead the chasing pack. 

Graham Jeffries's lead cut in half to 2pts as Jeff Miller moves into 2nd place. Simon Baldwin moves up to 4th. League is tight, only 10pts separating the top 15 players.

Christmas fixtures and beyond

At this time of the year I like to make sure you are all aware of the fixtures over Christmas because it can get a bit complicated.

Week 17 - Thurs 21st Dec 7.40pm to Sun 24th - (note the earlier start day) - Man C and Brentford do not play

Week 18 - Tues 26th Dec 12.25pm to Thurs 28th Dec - this includes MLW cup prelim round

Week 19 - Fri 29th Dec 5.55pm (note earlier time) to Tues 2nd Jan - final week of the month. Mon games include 1 Prem and the rest of the National league. All other games do not count. This includes any MLW cup prelim round REPLAYS or Round 1 if no replays

Week 20 - FA cup 3rd round weekend - Thu 4th Jan 7.55pm (note earlier start date) to Mon 8th Jan 

Week 21 - Fri 12th Jan - this includes FA Trophy games - half of the Premier League teams

Week 22 - Fri 19th Jan - the other half of the Premier League Teams
